Bnuy is a tiny stuffed animal fairy that was born out of her owner Lily’s first real sad thoughts at age 10. She serves to absorb some of Lily’s major negative emotions to prevent her from getting too depressed or anxious, but not all of them, because some negative emotions are still necessary and helpful (also you need to be balanced). But as a result of taking in negative emotions all the time, Bnuy is quite a downer herself. She’s constantly sleepy, forgetful, lacks energy and motivation, and only really likes to nap or lie around doing nothing. Neither is she perfect at choosing emotions to absorb or giving Lily motivation or trying to help with homework or school projects, but she does try her best.

I imagine that a repetitive motion could be Bnuy slumping or hunching over, and a mechanism that moves back and forth horizontally could help this motion.

“What happened? Lily’s crush didn’t see her this morning when getting on the bus but waved to someone else? Oh my god… I can feel it… I can feel the low self-esteem and jealousy setting in… uarghh……………..“

I think Crank A (rod sways repeatedly in a circular motion) or Crank B (rod sways back and forth by a linkage mechanism) could be good for this kinetic element.
